Our mission is to produce beautiful, lasting furniture using reclaimed local timbers. Combining eco-friendly resources and design functionality to help preserve the world's forests for future generations and move towards a healthier living environment.
Timbers carefully selected and salvaged from demolished houses in the local area, then hand-crafted with planing, sanding and finishing, are used in all Tongue N Groove Furniture. Each piece totally prepared and manufactured in our Gold Coast workshop.
Made to order items such as dining, coffee and side tables, bookshelves, hutches, mirrors, entertainment units, beds and bedroom furniture have been the mainstay of the business for over ten years.
Tongue n Groove is now one of the few furniture outlets supplying genuine recycled dining chairs and bar stools. Hardwood timbers salvaged from house demolitions (mostly roof rafters) are prepared and sent ot a specialist chair manufacturer in New South Wales, for construction and upholstering. These beautiful chairs can have upholstered seats, in a variety of colours or have the natural timber bases.
